Terms of service

These terms cover your use of QuizMwa. By creating an account you agree to them. They are written plainly on purpose: a parent should be able to read and understand them.

What QuizMwa is

An independent revision aid for the PSAC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or produced by the Mauritius Institute of Education, the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate or the Ministry of Education. The questions are written by the QuizMwa team with the help of available tools to follow the national curriculum. The multiple choice questions are intended to test the knowledge of the student in each topic.

Your account

One account per user. Provide a name and an email address where you can receive emails. Do not share your password. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to create the account. We may suspend an account that is shared, resold, or used to copy questions out of the app.

What is free, and what is not

Every account can practise the free sample — the first unit of each subject, for both grades, for as long as it likes. Everything else needs a subscription.

A subscription needs two things: a confirmed email address, and an administrator switching access on with an end date. Payment is arranged with us directly; nothing renews by itself, and no banking details are held by this app.

Refunds

If a subscription was switched on by mistake, or the app was unusable for a substantial part of the period you paid for, write to us as soon as the issue occurred. We will refund any subscription which was not available due to a technical error on our side. We do not refund a subscription simply because it went unused.

Marking and scores

Multiple Choice Questions are marked automatically. Each quiz is limited to 10 multiple choice questions. Scores in QuizMwa are practice scores. They are not official results and using QuizMwa does not guarantee any particular result in the PSAC.

Questions

The questions, explanations, diagrams and the app itself have been designed to assist a student in his revision. Do not copy them out, republish them, sell them, or feed them to another service.

Interruptions

While we aim to keep QuizMwa available at all times, but it may go down for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If it is unavailable for a long stretch, inform us and we will extend affected subscriptions.

Ending it

You can ask us to close your account at any time, however no refund will be provided. Where an account is closed by us, we may refund the unused part of a paid subscription unless the account was closed for copying or reselling the questions.

Changes

Should these terms change, we will change the date at the top of this page. It is understood that you agree to the terms by subscribing to our plans.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Mauritius.
